Chia and Quinoa
For such a small seed, chia seeds contain some important nutrients.
Chia seeds are rich in fibre – Fibre is important for a healthy digestive system and many of us do not reach the recommended target. Chia seeds contain omega-3 in the plant form: alpha linolenic acid (ALA) making them a valuable source for vegans and vegetarians.
Chia seeds are relatively high in protein – so are a useful source of plant protein and provide a range of amino acids, particularly for vegetarian and vegan diets.Seeds are rich in minerals such as calcium and magnesium and trace elements such as manganese, which helps make enzymes.

Buckwheat and Amaranth
Buckwheat and Amaranth contain several important nutrients.

Buckwheat has become popular as a health food due to its high mineral and antioxidant content. Its benefits may include improved blood sugar control.
Despite its name, buckwheat is not related to wheat and is thus gluten-free.
The amaranth besides being incredibly versatile, this nutritious grain is naturally gluten-free and rich in protein, fiber, micronutrients and antioxidants.
WHAT IS BROWN RICE
Brown rice is an excellent source of manganese, selenium, phosphorus, copper, magnesium, and niacin (vitamin B3). It doesn’t contain gluten.
The difference between brown rice and white rice is not just a colour. A wholegrain rice has several layers. Only the outermost layer, the hull, is removed to produce what we call brown rice. This process is the least damaging to the nutritional value of the rice and avoids the unnecessary loss of nutrients that occurs with further processing.
Why Brown Rice is healthier than white rice and other cereals
The complete milling and polishing that converts brown rice into white rice destroys 67% of the vitamin B3, 80% of the vitamin B1, 90% of the vitamin B6, half of the manganese, half of the phosphorus, 60% of the iron, and all of the dietary fiber and essential fatty acids. Fully milled and polished white rice is required to be “enriched” with vitamins B1, B3 and iron.

We chose whole grain brown rice for a base of our snacks because it has been proven to be one of the healthiest grains rich in fiber, selenium, group B vitamins, with no gluten. Only natural ingredients are used in all our products, without any yeast or frying.
